Text

1. An associate in social work, social worker, master social worker, independent social worker or clinical social worker may apply to the Board to have his or her license placed on inactive status. The Board may grant the application if the license is in good standing and the licensee has met all requirements for the issuance or renewal of a license as of the date of the application. 2. If the application is granted:

(a)The licensee must not engage in social work in this State unless the license is returned to active status; and
(b)The licensee is not required to complete continuing education unless his or her license is returned to active status. 3. The inactive status of a license is valid for 5 years after the date that the inactive status is granted. 4. If a license is placed on inac
