1. A person who wishes to obtain the supervised experience that is required for licensure as a clinical professional counselor pursuant to this chapter must obtain a license as a clinical professional counselor intern before beginning the supervised experience. 2. An applicant for a license as a clinical professional counselor intern must furnish evidence satisfactory to the Board that the applicant:

(a)Is at least 21 years of age;
(b)Is of good moral character;
(c)Possesses a graduate degree in counseling from an accredited college or university approved by the Board which required the completion of a practicum or internship; and
(d)Has entered into a supervision agreement with an approved supervisor.
