1. A person who wishes to obtain the supervised experience that is required for licensure as a marriage and family therapist pursuant to this chapter must obtain a license as a marriage and family therapist intern before beginning the supervised experience. 2. An applicant for a license as a marriage and family therapist intern must furnish evidence satisfactory to the Board that the applicant:

(a)Is at least 21 years of age;
(b)Is of good moral character;
(c)Possesses a graduate degree in marriage and family therapy, psychology or social work from an accredited institution approved by the Board or has completed other education and training which is deemed equivalent by the Board; and
(d)Has entered into a supervision agreement with an approved supervisor.
