Except as otherwise provided in NRS 641A.242, each applicant for a license to practice as a clinical professional counselor must furnish evidence satisfactory to the Board that the applicant: 1. Is at least 21 years of age; 2. Is of good moral character; 3. Has:

(a)Completed residency training in psychiatry from an accredited institution approved by the Board;
(b)A graduate degree from a program approved by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs as a program in mental health counseling or community counseling; or
(c)An acceptable degree as determined by the Board which includes the completion of a practicum and internship in mental health counseling which was taken concurrently with the degree program and was supervised by a licensed mental health p
