Text

1. The Board through its Chair or Vice Chair may maintain in any court of competent jurisdiction a suit for an injunction against any person engaging in the practice of audiology, speech-language pathology or fitting and dispensing hearing aids without a license valid under this chapter. 2. Such an injunction:

(a)May be issued without proof of actual damage sustained by any person, this provision being a preventive as well as a punitive measure.
(b)Shall not relieve such person from criminal prosecution for practicing without a license.
