1. All work performed by a licensed apprentice must be directly supervised by a hearing aid specialist or dispensing audiologist, and the hearing aid specialist or dispensing audiologist is responsible and civilly liable for the negligence or incompetence of the licensed apprentice under his or her supervision. 2. Any selection of a hearing aid for a customer made by a licensed apprentice must be approved by a hearing aid specialist or dispensing audiologist. 3. Any audiogram or sales document prepared by a licensed apprentice must be signed by the apprentice and the supervising hearing aid specialist or dispensing audiologist. 4. As used in this section:
