Text

An applicant for a license to engage in the practice of fitting and dispensing hearing aids must: 1. Successfully complete a program of education or training approved by the Board which requires, without limitation, that the applicant:

(a)Hold an associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree in hearing instrument sciences; or
(b)Hold a high school diploma or its equivalent or an associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree in any field other than hearing instrument sciences, and successfully complete a training program in hearing instrument sciences as prescribed by regulation of the Board. 2. Except as otherwise provided in NRS 637B.201 , be certified by the National Board for Certification in Hearing Instrument Sciences. 3. Pass the examination prescribed pursuant to NRS 637B.194 . 4.
