Text
It is unlawful for a licensee to issue, offer to issue, duplicate or extend a prescription for an ophthalmic lens for a person if the licensee has not performed a comprehensive examination, or does not have access to the complete results of a comprehensive examination that was performed, on the person within the immediately preceding 2 years.
