1. In addition to any other remedy provided by law, the Board, through an officer of the Board or the Attorney General, may apply to any court of competent jurisdiction to enjoin any unprofessional conduct of an osteopathic physician, physician assistant or anesthesiologist assistant which is harmful to the public or to limit the practice of the osteopathic physician, physician assistant or anesthesiologist assistant or suspend his or her license to practice osteopathic medicine or to practice as a physician assistant or anesthesiologist assistant, as applicable, as provided in this section. 2. The court in a proper case may issue a temporary restraining order or a preliminary injunction for such purposes:
