Text

1. An osteopathic physician may at any time refuse to act as a supervising osteopathic physician for a physician assistant. 2. A condition, stipulation or provision in a contract or other agreement which:

(a)Requires an osteopathic physician to act as a supervising osteopathic physician for a physician assistant;
(b)Penalizes an osteopathic physician for refusing to act as a supervising osteopathic physician for a physician assistant; or
(c)Limits a supervising osteopathic physician’s authority with regard to any protocol, standing order or delegation of authority applicable to a physician assistant supervised by the osteopathic physician, Ê is against public policy and is void.
