Text

1. The Board may hold hearings and conduct investigations pertaining to its duties imposed under this chapter and take evidence on any such matter under inquiry before the Board. For the purposes of this chapter:

(a)Any member of the Board or other person authorized by law may administer oaths; and
(b)The Secretary-Treasurer or President of the Board or a hearing officer or the presiding member of a committee investigating a complaint, but not the Executive Director acting on his or her own behalf, may issue subpoenas to compel the attendance of witnesses and the production of books, X-rays, medical records and any other item within the scope of Rule 45 of the Nevada Rules of Civil Procedure.
