§ 63.765 — Youth Parole Bureau to establish policies and procedures for determining appropriate response to parole violation

The Youth Parole Bureau shall establish policies and procedures to be used by parole officers and juvenile courts in determining the most appropriate response to a child’s violation of the terms and conditions of his or her parole. The policies and procedures must: 1. Establish a sliding scale based on the severity of the violation to determine the appropriate response to the child; 2. Require that a response to a child’s violation of the terms and conditions of his or her parole timely take into consideration:

(a)The risk of the child to reoffend, as determined by the results of a risk and needs assessment;
(b)The previous history of violations of the child;
(c)The severity of the current violation of the child;
(d)The child’s case plan; and
(e)The previous responses by the child to
