§ 62G.240 — Citizen’s advisory committee: Establishment; powers

1. The board of county commissioners of a county which establishes a department of juvenile justice services shall establish by ordinance a citizen’s advisory committee to advise the joint board established pursuant to NRS 62G.230 . 2. The ordinance establishing the citizen’s advisory committee must include:
(a)The name of the committee;
(b)The number of members of the committee;
(c)The terms of the members; and
(d)The duties of the committee.
3. The citizen’s advisory committee may offer the opinions and recommendations of the residents of the county and give advice and make recommendations to the joint board concerning the facilities, services and resources provided by the department of juvenile justice services.
