§ 62E.705 — Unlawful operation of motor vehicle without or in violation of license or permit: Joint and several liability of parent or guardian; community service in lieu of monetary penalty

Nevada·Title 5 JUVENILE JUSTICE·Ch. 62E Disposition· Specific Acts Committed by Child

1. If the juvenile court:

(a)Adjudicates a child delinquent for the unlawful act of operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver’s license or instruction permit for the type or class of vehicle being driven or in violation of any restrictions imposed on a valid driver’s license or instruction permit held by the child; and
(b)Finds that the parent or guardian of the child knowingly and willfully allowed the child to operate the vehicle without a valid driver’s license or instruction permit for the type or class of vehicle being driven or in violation of any restrictions imposed on a valid driver’s license or instruction permit held by the child, Ê the juvenile court shall order the parent or guardian of the child to be held jointly and severally liable with the child for all fines, fe
