§ 62A.280 — “Regional facility for the treatment and rehabilitation of children” defined

Nevada·Title 5 JUVENILE JUSTICE·Ch. 62A General

1. “Regional facility for the treatment and rehabilitation of children” means a regional facility which provides court-ordered treatment and rehabilitation for children and which is administered by or for the benefit of more than one governmental entity. 2. The term includes, but is not limited to:

(a)The facility in Clark County known as Spring Mountain Youth Camp;
(b)The facility in Douglas County known as China Spring Youth Camp; and
(c)The facility in Lyon County known as Western Nevada Regional Youth Facility. 3. The term does not include:
(a)Any local facility for the detention of children; or
(b)The Nevada Youth Training Center, the Caliente Youth Center or any state facility for the detention of children.
