Text

A person who is present solely to improve his or her own personal skill or knowledge by observing the rendering of care by a practitioner of a healing art is immune from any civil action for damages arising from the alleged negligent rendering of that care if the person does not participate in any way in the rendering of that care and is not compensated for that care.
