Text

1. Every professional land surveyor may administer and certify oaths when:

(a)It is necessary to take testimony for the identification or establishment of old, lost or obliterated corners;
(b)A corner or monument is found in a perishable condition; or
(c)The importance of a survey makes it desirable to administer oaths to his or her assistants for the faithful performance of their duty. 2. A record of oaths must be prepared as part of the field notes of the survey, and a memorandum of them must be made on the record of survey to be filed under this chapter.
