1. If any provision of this title requires a regulatory body to disclose information to the public in any proceeding or as part of any record, such a provision does not apply:

(a)To any personal medical information or records of a patient that are confidential or otherwise protected from disclosure by any other provision of federal or state law.

(b)To any personal identifying information of a person alleged to have been injured by any act of another person for which a license, certificate or permit is required to be issued by a licensing board. Such information must be kept confidential by the licensing board in whose possession the information is held. 2. As used in this section, “licensing board” has the meaning ascribed to it in NRS 644A.880 .
