Text

Any person:

1.Less than 18 years of age who is subject to the jurisdiction of the juvenile court and who has been ordered by the court to perform community service, upon compliance by the supervising authority; or
2.Eighteen years of age or older who has been ordered by any court to perform community service pursuant to NRS 176.087 , upon compliance by the convicted person or the supervising authority, Ê while engaged in that work, shall be deemed, for the purpose of chapters 616A to 616D , inclusive, of NRS, an employee of the supervising authority at a wage of $50 per month, and is entitled to the benefits of those chapters.
