Text

Any person who is:

1.Engaged in vending, selling, offering for sale or delivering directly to the public any newspaper, magazine or periodical pursuant to an agreement or contract with the publisher or distributor thereof;
2.Acting under the control of the publisher or distributor; and
3.Receiving a wage, commission or other compensation based upon the person’s sales of the newspaper, magazine or periodical, Ê shall be deemed, for the purposes of chapters 616A to 616D , inclusive, of NRS, to be an employee of the publisher or distributor and to be receiving a wage of $50 per month or the person’s actual remuneration, whichever is greater, and is entitled to the benefits of those chapters.
