Text

1. The Employment Security Council shall act as an advisory council to the Administrator to:

(a)Reduce and prevent unemployment;
(b)Encourage and assist in the adoption of practical methods of vocational training, retraining and vocational guidance; and
(c)Promote the reemployment of unemployed workers throughout the State in every other way that may be feasible. 2. Whenever the Employment Security Council believes that a change in contribution or benefit rates will become necessary to protect the solvency of the Unemployment Compensation Fund, it shall promptly so inform the Administrator and make recommendations with respect thereto.
