Text

1. Any violation of NRS 598.9715 or 598.9716 constitutes a deceptive trade practice for the purposes of NRS 598.0903 to 598.0999 , inclusive. 2. A consumer who prevails in an action for a violation of NRS 598.9715 or 598.9716 by a person who is a creditor in connection with a retail installment contract for the sale of a motor vehicle or a long-term lessor in connection with the lease of a motor vehicle, in addition to any other award or other remedy available pursuant to law, must be awarded the greater of:

(a)Statutory damages pursuant to subsection 3 of NRS 104.9625 , if applicable; or
(b)$1,000.
