If the Attorney General has reason to believe that a person has violated, is violating or is about to violate any of the provisions of NRS 597.8191 to 597.8198, inclusive, the Attorney General may institute an appropriate legal proceeding against the person. The district court, upon a showing that the person has violated, is violating or is about to violate any of the provisions of NRS 597.8191 to 597.8198, inclusive, may grant any of the following remedies, as appropriate: 1. Issue a temporary or permanent injunction. 2. Impose a civil penalty not to exceed:
