Text

1.The supervisors of any district may file petitions with the Commission at any time to request it to formulate land use regulations applicable to the district.
2.The Commission shall prescribe the form of the petition, which shall be, as nearly as practicable, in the form prescribed in this chapter for petitions to organize a district.
3.The Commission shall have authority to formulate regulations, based upon the petition, governing the use of lands within a district in the interest of conserving renewable natural resources and preventing and controlling soil erosion and sedimentation.
4.The Commission shall conduct, after due notice, public meetings and public hearings within the district or districts concerned upon such regulations as it deems necessary to assist it in consideration
