Text

1. The board may:

(a)Appoint a chief engineer and general manager who must be a civil engineer licensed pursuant to the provisions of chapter 625 of NRS and may be selected from among nominees proposed by the citizens’ advisory committee for the district.
(b)Prescribe the duties of officers, agents and employees and fix their compensation.
(c)Create a technical committee for the district. If the board of county commissioners constitutes the board of directors, the technical committee must include one member and one alternate appointed by the county and by each city within the district. If the regional transportation commission constitutes the board of directors, the number of members and alternates appointed respectively by the county and by each city must be equal to the number of its
