Text

1. Subject to the limitations contained in subsection 2, the board of directors may expend money from the general fund and the operation and maintenance fund for the development, operation and maintenance of recreational grounds. 2. In any irrigation district having a reservoir or reservoirs for the storage of water with a capacity of:

(a)Less than 250,000 acre-feet, the expenditures authorized by subsection 1 may not exceed the sum of $1,000 in any 1 year.
(b)250,000 acre-feet or more, the expenditures authorized by subsection 1 may not exceed the sum of $25,000 in any 1 year.
