Text
The local board of directors shall submit to the electors of the division at a special election, district election or primary or general state election the contract for approval and for authorization to levy an assessment or assessments, as provided in this chapter, to secure the money required to carry out the contract, including the amounts that will be due the United States thereunder and that will be required for the construction of the proposed local drains, laterals or other improvements, or for the replacement and extension of existing works or structures.
