Text

1. No person or agent of any person shall be granted a new prospecting permit upon the same claims, or any of them, under the provisions of NRS 517.390 to 517.430 , inclusive:

(a)If such claims, or any of them, at the time of any subsequent application, have been the property of the county for a year or more.
(b)Until 30 days shall have elapsed between the date of the termination of the former prospecting permit and the date of application for a subsequent permit. 2. If at the time of the expiration of a prospecting period actual development work, by drilling or otherwise, is being carried on, then the board of county commissioners shall, upon application, grant an additional 6 months’ prospecting period to the same applicant or applicants.
