Text

1. The Commission may adopt regulations establishing a program pursuant to which the Department may issue special incentive deer tags to owners, lessees and managers of private land in this State for use on the private land of such owners, lessees or managers. 2. The regulations must:

(a)Require that the owner, lessee or manager who is lawfully in control of private land must, before the owner, lessee or manager is issued a special incentive deer tag:
(1)Allow the hunting and viewing of wildlife on his or her land by the general public; or
(2)Enter into a cooperative agreement with the Department to improve deer or other wildlife habitat on his or her land.
(b)Allow the owner, lessee or manager to sell any special incentive deer tag that the owner, lessee or manager is issued pursuant
