Text

Any dealer upon transferring by sale, lease or otherwise any power-driven vessel, whether new or used, required to be numbered under this chapter, shall give written notice of the transfer to the Department upon an appropriate form provided by it. The notice must be given within 3 days after the sale, but a dealer need not give the notice when selling or transferring a new unnumbered power-driven vessel to another dealer.
