Text
1.The Department shall, upon the receipt of a certified copy of a judgment, suspend the license, all registrations and any nonresident’s operating privilege of any person against whom the judgment was rendered, except as otherwise provided in this section and in NRS 485.305 .
2.If the judgment creditor consents in writing, in such a form as the Department may prescribe, that the judgment debtor be allowed a license and registration or nonresident’s operating privilege, it may be allowed by the Department until the consent is revoked in writing, notwithstanding default in the payment of the judgment or of any installments thereof prescribed in NRS 485.305 , if the judgment debtor furnishes proof of financial responsibility as provided in NRS 485.307 .
