Text

1. There is hereby created in each county whose population is 700,000 or more a regional advisory committee to make recommendations to the Department of Transportation and to affected cities and counties, as applicable, regarding the movement of oversized or overweight vehicles in this State. 2. The membership of such a committee must consist of:

(a)One member appointed by the Department of Transportation, who shall serve as the chair of the committee;
(b)One member appointed by the board of county commissioners;
(c)One member appointed by the city council of every incorporated city within the county;
(d)One member appointed by the largest construction industry association in the county; and
(e)One member appointed by the largest motor transport association in the county. 3. Each memb
