Text

1. A person shall not park a vehicle in a space designated for charging electric or hybrid electric vehicles by a sign or markings that meet the requirements of subsection 2, whether on public or privately owned property, if the vehicle is not connected to the charging station for the purpose of charging. 2. For the purpose of enforcing the provisions of subsection 1, a parking space designated for charging electric or hybrid electric vehicles must be indicated by a sign or markings that:

(a)Are consistent with the manual and specifications for a uniform system of traffic-control devices adopted pursuant to NRS 484A.430 ; and
(b)State “Minimum fine of $100 for use by others” or equivalent words. 3. A person who violates the provisions of subsection 1 shall be punished:
