Text

1. A peer-to-peer car sharing program shall not engage in business in this State unless the person who operates the peer-to-peer car sharing program holds a valid license issued by the Department pursuant to this chapter. 2. A person who desires to operate a peer-to-peer car sharing program in this State must:

(a)Submit to the Department an application for the issuance of a license to operate a peer-to-peer car sharing program in such form and including such information and documentation as the Director may require by regulation.
(b)Provide evidence of insurance coverage to satisfy any liability that accrues to a peer-to-peer car sharing program for damage that arises from the failure of the peer-to-peer car sharing program to comply with the provisions of this chapter in an amount estab
