Text

1.An owner of a motor vehicle who is a resident of the State of Nevada and who holds an unrevoked and unexpired official amateur radio station license issued by the Federal Communications Commission, upon application accompanied by proof of ownership of that license, complying with the state motor vehicle laws relating to registration and licensing of motor vehicles, and upon the payment of the regular license fee for plates as prescribed by law, and the payment of an additional fee of $35, must be issued a license plate or plates, upon which in lieu of the numbers as prescribed by law must be inscribed the words “RADIO AMATEUR” and the official amateur radio call letters of the applicant as assigned by the Federal Communications Commission.
