Text

The board of fire commissioners shall: 1. Manage and conduct the business and affairs of districts organized pursuant to the provisions of NRS 474.460 or 474.533 . 2. Adopt and enforce all rules and regulations necessary for the administration and government of the districts and for the furnishing of fire protection thereto, which may include regulations relating to emergency medical services and fire prevention. The regulations may include provisions that are designed to protect life and property from:

(a)The hazards of fire and explosion resulting from the storage, handling and use of hazardous substances, materials and devices; and
