Text

“Regulated substance” means:

1.Any petroleum substance or chemical regulated by the federal Resource Conservation and Recovery Act of 1976 (42 U.S.C. §§ 6901 et seq.), that is contained in a storage tank, except that the term does not include any substance subject to regulation under Subtitle C of that act as hazardous waste; and
2.Any petroleum, including crude oil or any fraction thereof that is liquid at standard condition of temperature and pressure, 60 degrees Fahrenheit and 14.7 pounds per square inch absolute. The term includes, but is not limited to, petroleum and petroleum-based substances comprised of a complex blend of hydrocarbons derived from crude oil through processes of separation, conversion, upgrading and finishing, such as motor fuels, jet fuels, distillate fuel oils,
