Text

1. Each prescription for a controlled substance must comply with the regulations of the Board adopted pursuant to subsection 2. 2. The Board shall, by regulation, adopt requirements for:

(a)The form and content of a prescription for a controlled substance. The requirements may vary depending upon the schedule of the controlled substance.
(b)Transmitting a prescription for a controlled substance to a pharmacy. The requirements may vary depending upon the schedule of the controlled substance.
(c)The form and contents of an order for a controlled substance given for a patient in a medical facility and the requirements for keeping records of such orders. 3. Except as otherwise provided in this subsection, the regulations adopted pursuant to subsection 2 must:
