1.Whenever the cemetery lands and property of any nonprofit corporation governed by the provisions of chapter 82 of NRS formed for the purpose of procuring and holding lands to be used exclusively for a cemetery or place of burial of the dead are laid off into lots or plats, and the lots or plats, or any of them, are transferred to individual holders, and after there has been an interment in a lot or plat so transferred, the lot or plat, from the time of the interment, is forever thereafter inalienable, and, upon the death of the holder or proprietor thereof, descends to the heirs at law of the holder or proprietor, and to their heirs at law forever.
