Text

1. A person shall not build, construct or erect any mausoleum, vault, crypt or structure intended to hold or contain dead human bodies, which shall be wholly or partially above the surface of the ground, except in compliance with the regulations of the State Board of Health governing their location, materials and construction. The State Board of Health may adopt and, except as provided in subsection 2, the Division shall enforce such regulations. 2. An incorporated city or a county which:

(a)Has a building or public works department; and
(b)Has adopted a nationally recognized building code, entirely or with variations, Ê shall enforce within its respective city limits or unincorporated areas any regulations pertaining to the construction of mausoleums, vaults, crypts or other similar str
