Text

A person who has a communicable disease and depends exclusively on prayer for healing in accordance with the tenets and precepts of any recognized religious sect, denomination or organization is not required to submit to any medical treatment required by the provisions of this chapter, but may be isolated or quarantined in the person’s home or other place of the person’s choice acceptable to the health authority, and shall comply with all applicable rules, regulations and orders issued by the health authority.
