Text

The chair of the emergency team or a member of the emergency team designated by the chair shall: 1. Provide information to the general public and ensure that the public remains informed on the progress of the work of the emergency team. 2. Act as the liaison between the emergency team and the Governor, the Speaker of the Assembly, the Majority Leader of the Senate, the Attorney General and any other officer, agency or political subdivision of this State with an interest in the response to and resolution of the public health emergency or other health event. 3. Provide to the Governor and the Legislature or, if the Legislature is not in session, to the Legislative Commission and the Joint Interim Standing Committee on Health and Human Services:
