1. Each county whose population is 100,000 or more shall provide child protective services in that county and pay the cost of those services. The services must be provided in accordance with the standards adopted pursuant to NRS 432B.190 . 2. A county whose population is less than 100,000 that receives approval to carry out child protective services for the county and an exemption from the assessment imposed pursuant to NRS 432B.326 shall:
