Text

1. Each person who is employed in a child care facility, other than in a facility that provides care for ill children, shall, in addition to completing the training required by NRS 432A.1776 , complete 24 hours of training each year. 2. At least:

(a)Twelve hours of the training required by subsection 1 each year must be devoted to the care, education and safety of children specific to the age group served by the child care facility in which the person is employed and must be approved in accordance with regulations adopted by the Board; and
(b)Two hours of the training required by subsection 1 each year must be devoted to the lifelong wellness, health and safety of children and must include training relating to childhood obesity, nutrition and physical activity. 3. As used in this section
