Text

1. The Director may establish a program to negotiate discounts and rebates for hearing devices and related costs, including, without limitation, ear molds, batteries and FM systems, for children in this State who are deaf or hard of hearing on behalf of entities described in subsection 2 who participate in the program. 2. The following persons and entities may participate in a program established pursuant to subsection 1:

(a)The Public Employees’ Benefits Program;
(b)A governing body of a county, school district, municipal corporation, political subdivision, public corporation or other local governmental agency that provides health coverage to employees through a self-insurance reserve fund pursuant to NRS 287.010 ;
(c)An insurer that holds a certificate of authority to transact insuran
