1.Each voting member of the Commission is entitled to receive a salary of not more than $80 per day, as fixed by the Commission, while engaged in the business of the Commission.

2.While engaged in the business of the Commission, each member of the Commission appointed pursuant to subsection 2 or paragraph (a), (b) or (d) of subsection 3 of NRS 427A.032 , each former member of the Commission and each member of the general public appointed to serve on a subcommittee or advisory committee of the Commission pursuant to subsection 4 of NRS 427A.034 , and each employee of the Commission is entitled to receive the per diem allowance and travel expenses provided for state officers and employees generally.

3.The Commission may expend in accordance with law all money made available for its use. 4

Except during a regular or special session of the Legislature, each legislative member of the Commission is entitled to receive the compensation provided for a majority of the members of the Legislature during the first 60 days of the preceding regular session for each day or portion of a day during which the legislative member attends a meeting of the Commission or is otherwise engaged in the business of the Commission, plus the per diem allowance and travel expenses provided for state officers and employees generally. The salaries and expenses of the legislative members of the Commission must be paid from the Legislative Fund.
