Text

1. The holder of a license to operate a foster care agency shall ensure that each member of the staff of the foster care agency who comes into direct contact with a child placed by the foster care agency receives, within 90 days after employment and annually thereafter, training that has been approved by the licensing authority concerning working with lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning children. 2. A foster care agency shall:

(a)Ensure that each child placed by the foster care agency is treated in all respects in accordance with the child’s gender identity or expression; and
(b)Follow the protocols prescribed in the regulations adopted pursuant to NRS 432B.172 when assisting an agency which provides child welfare services or a juvenile court in placing a child in foster
