Text
Whenever a licensing authority is advised or has reason to believe that any person is conducting or maintaining a foster home for children without a license, as required by this chapter, the licensing authority shall have an investigation made. If the person is conducting a foster home, the licensing authority shall either issue a license or take action to prevent continued operation of the foster home.
