Text

1. To the extent that money is available for this purpose, the Nevada Statewide Council on Financial Independence may provide:

(a)Compensation of not more than $80 per day to each member of the Council who is not a public employee while engaged in the business of the Council; and
(b)The per diem allowance and travel expenses provided for state officers and employees generally to each member of the Council while engaged in the business of the Council. 2. A member of the Council who is a public employee may not receive any compensation for his or her services as a member of the Council. Any member of the Council who is a public employee must be granted administrative leave from the duties of the member to engage in the business of the Council without loss of his or her regular compensation
