Text

1. The Division shall:

(a)Periodically evaluate recipients of public assistance pursuant to this chapter to identify recipients who are victims of domestic violence.
(b)Refer a recipient who it determines is a victim of domestic violence to appropriate counseling or other supportive services available in the community in which the recipient resides. 2. Except as otherwise provided in this subsection, the Division shall not disclose to any person other than the victim that a determination of domestic violence has been made pursuant to this section. The Division may disclose the information to the Secretary of Health and Human Services or his or her designee for the purposes of including that information in the Federal Parent Locator Service established pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 653.
